Billing Specialist

***Remote Position after in-person training***

Responsible for follow up of government and commercial insurance for hospital services billed by the hospital; interactions with the Medical Records department and hospital coders; some interactions with patients and insurance payers.

Qualifications: Requires High School Diploma or GED and computer experience. Prior electronic and/or hardcopy billing is preferred but not required. Must have good communication skills. Collection experience preferred. Prior experience working with Government, State, and Commercial Insurance carriers helpful but not required.
