Biologist II
Responsibilities:
- Execution of rodent and human ex vivo whole blood or PBMC assays.
- Tissue mRNA and protein isolation.
- Perform assays to evaluate target biology and potential therapeutic agents using technologies like qPCR, MSD, Luminex and FACS.
- Routine isolation and culturing of human and rodent primary cells and cell lines.
- Generate data in a timely fashion.
- Effectively and accurately record and report experiment results.
- General lab maintenance.
- Build strong relationships with peers and cross functionally with partners outside of team to enable higher performance.
- Learns fast, grasps the "essence" and can change course quickly where indicated.
- Raises the bar and is never satisfied with the status quo.
- Creates a learning environment, open to suggestions and experimentation for improvement.

Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in cellular biology, immunology, pharmacology or a related discipline with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in cell culture, sterile technique, and in vitro cellular assays.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization skills desired.
- Experience working with human blood and rodent tissue.
- Experience in medium-throughput screening of small moleculees and biologics.
- Experience with rodent handling including dosing by PO, IP, and IV routes.
- Proficiency in data reporting and analysis software (excel and GraphPad Prism).
- Experience working in a team environment to achieve goals and timelines.
