JOB SUMMARY:
Coordinates on-site activities of office. Responsible and accountable for organizing all aspects of the
clinical and front office staff. Works collaboratively with the office staff, providers, the Practice
Manager, other Stillwater Medical employees outside of the clinic, the PPM Operations Team and the
Administrative Council in supporting clinic operations and patients. Serves as a positive role model
and sets the tone for clinic's reputation and performance. Provides leadership in the areas of patient
satisfaction, clinic productivity, provision of safe & effective care, marketing, finance, human resources,
communication, patient advocacy, performance improvement, and leadership & professional
development. Keeps the Practice Manager and appropriate members of Stillwater Medical leadership
informed of both progress and potential problems. Acts as the first point of contact for staff concerns
or issues and escalates the problems to the Practice Manager when necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- An Associate, Bachelor's, and/or Master's Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of two years previous experience in healthcare/medical office environment required; related education and other work experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with staff, physicians, and general public.
- Understand the ethics of confidentiality.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Able to speak clearly and distinctly with staff, physicians, patients, and families.
- Able to hear to converse with others on the phone.
- Must have adequate perception of sounds or adequate hearing with corrections.
- Demonstrates adequate stamina to deal with stressful situations and to complete the necessary work schedule.
- Demonstrates adequate vision, or correctable with glasses/contacts, to prepare and read documents accurately.
- Possess fine motor skills and hand/eye coordination to operate equipment.
