Provides nutritional services to the Geriatric population, hospice clientele, residents in rehabilitation area, Kidney dialysis residents. Participates in nutritional education programs for Trinity staff, the community, health education and other organizations in the NW North Dakota. Consults to contracted accounts.
GENERAL STATEMENT All job standards and skill included within this statement will be performed and documented according to established policies, procedures and guidelines within the department and Trinity Nursing Home. Standards measured by: Direct or indirect observation documentation, procedure review, valid complaints, Quality Management reports and review and demonstration. Any areas found to be below in a standard for more than 1 consecutive year will result in a below standard for the entire standard.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Licenses and Certifications Required
Credentialed as a Registered Dietitian by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or eligible for registration as a dietitian by the CDR. Licensed as a Registered Dietitian in North Dakota (ND). If eligible must obtain and hold limited license in ND and within 6 months of hire date must obtain RD status by CDR credentialing.
Educational Requirements
Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics registered
Experience Requirements
Prefer one year experience in health care facility
