Clinical Dietitian - Sign On up to $5K- Coos Bay, OR

Job Description:

To provide clinical nutrition support, care and information to patients and staff of Hospital.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Proficiently operates calculator, computer, PowerPoint, telephone, copy machine, fax machine

• Able to read, write legibly, and converse in the English language

• Maintains regular, consistent and punctual attendance at the assigned job location

Qualification/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Food & Nutrition or Dietetics - Required

• Completion of approved coordinated undergraduate program, dietetic internship or approved master's program - Required

• One (1) year Experience in clinical or community nutrition - Preferred

• Registered dietitian or eligible for registration- must obtain registration within 1 year - Required

• Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics - Preferred

Licenses/Certifications:

• Licensed as a Dietitian in the State of Oregon - Required

• Current Driver's License or obtain within 30 days - Required

• Must have or be able to obtain an Oregon Food Handler, Food Manager Certification, or SERV Safe Certification within 30 days of hire - Required

• Certified Diabetic Educator - Required

• Certified Oncology Nutrition Specialist - Required

• Certified Nutrition Support Specialist - Required
