The Director of Operations will provide leadership, direction and oversight to specific physician practices. They will do so in a manner consistent with the mission and core values of the organization and industry standard business practices.

Responsibilities
The Director of Operations
- will develop budgets, establish and apply established policies and procedures, and insure development and implementation of efficient workflow processes in all areas of responsibility.
- be responsible for the identification and development of revenue opportunities, physician relationship building, practice building and expansion, and overall site(s) and practice enhancement.
- work closely with all the physicians and staff, as well as the Site Medical Director and the Vice President.
- interact closely with others on the senior management team to drive the success of corporate initiatives, practice development and key organizational goals.
- will be able to step in as Practice Manager when needed.
Requirements
- Must possess a bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration or related field.
- 10 years of progressively increasing management experience can replace the education requirement. Masters in Healthcare Administration, preferred.
- Must possess 5-7 years of progressively increasing management responsibility in physician practice administration, healthcare administration or a related field.
- Development and interpretation of complex financial documents including profit & loss statement, balance sheet management, budgets and other related reports.
- Human Resources Management
- Business planning and development.
- Previous physician recruitment experience
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to be detail-oriented and still remained focus on larger goals/targets.
- Experience with:
- Microsoft Word, Power Point, and Excel (advanced skills)
- Microsoft Outlook
- Epic (if applicable to position)
- NetLearning
- Electronic Performance Appraisal System
- Must possess skills in Physician and staff relationship building and employee engagement.
- Excellent computer skills including experience in using excel, Outlook (E-Mail), Practice Management Software applications, financial management applications and other related applications.
