EPIC - Revenue Clinical Application Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY:

This position is responsible for in-depth knowledge of assigned Epic clinical revenue systems. The revenue clinical application analyst conducts regular day-to-day communication, reviews the software, demonstrates a deep understanding of business operations, and works with multiple teams, including vendor, project team(s), Business Representatives/Subject Matter Experts, and end users. This position will routinely perform in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, report details, and other technical issues associated with the use of Epic software; is responsible for developing and documenting the internal procedures that will be used in conjunction with vendor applications; and will design, build, test, install and maintain Epic solutions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, skills, and experience:


  • AA Degree in Business, health care administration, clinical discipline, or related field required; may substitute work experience for degree.
  • Strong oral, written, and presentation communication skills required.
  • Prior experience in analysis, optimizing, and process improvement of clinical or healthcare-related systems or workflows preferred.
  • Prior experience in medical billing, claims, and reimbursement workflows and methodologies preferred.
  • Prior experience in creation of system documents, including but not limited to workflow documentation and standard operating procedures preferred.
  • Prior experience in system testing and remediation preferred.
  • Successful completion of aptitude test required.
