You will ensure that the Head Office building and services meet the needs of occupants and any regulations. You will ensure the offices are maintained efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for Health and Safety within the office and at the Westbourne lock up facility.
You will provide a distribution service for Head Office, National Accounts and Sales Teams, working within the guidelines of GDP (Good Distribution Practice) and regulatory MHRA procedures. You will organise the provision of lock ups for the field staff and provide operational support. You will provide support for trade shows and exhibitions.
Facilities
- You will carry out basic maintenance and ad-hoc small cleaning works at Head Office and our Westbourne storage facility, as well as monitoring and overseeing the quality, planned & ad-hoc maintenance and cleaning works, provided by external contractors.
- You will liaise with Managing Agents and oversee, on their behalf, maintenance and works that are under their responsibility.
- You will oversee Head Office security, to include CCTV, & alarm systems
- You will compile and maintain H&S risk assessments for both Head Office and the Westbourne lock up.
- You will maintain COSHH and fire regulations as well as carrying out chief fire warden duties, including fire warden training.
- You will manage the maintenance and training for the Hill House evacuation chair.
- You will order and manage stock control for packaging products.
- You will source and procure ad-hoc items for the offices as needed, mindful of budgets.
- You will provide support for internal desk and office moves.
- You will organise car valeting for the Board of Directors.
Distribution
- You will process UK and International orders in accordance with regulations, pick and pack items as per order detail and book delivery via the courier on-line portal system.
- You will resolve delivery problems including non-arrivals, damaged products and incorrect orders.
- You will book and track third party collection and deliveries.
- You will manage stock control at Head Office and our storage facilities in Westbourne.
- You will ensure that all areas of working are kept in a safe and sound condition including the Distribution office & Westbourne storage facility.
- You will manage the lock up provision for the Company, opening and closing units, emptying and delivering POS, being aware of budgetary costs.
- You will provide support for trade exhibitions and conferences by delivering equipment and products and assisting with setting up and closing down exhibition stands.
- You will be the main Company van driver and carry out any Company car movements
- You will be the main person responsible for maintaining the Company van is in good and legal order.
- You will manage waste, ensuring it is disposed of in accordance with Company environmental policy and to the waste regulations.
- You will carry out any other reasonable task or tasks in connection with the job function, as requested by your manager, including a willingness to work flexibly beyond standard operating hours when required.
Career Experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
- Clean driving licence is essential
- Previous experience of H&S, Fire and COSHH regulations is essential.
Qualifications
- Good standard of general education including Maths and English.
- IOSH qualification - Essential
