Assist in all daily functions of the facility including building maintenance, cleaning, minor repairs, and distribution of materials. Responds promptly to customer needs and works on consistently improving turnaround times. Responds to requests for service and assistance.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Overall performance rating of below indicated essential job duties:
Moves offices, equipment, beds, and or supplies into or out of the Medical Center as directed; initiates purchase order for supplies and equipment; operates floor machines and vacuums to clean and to polish floors; mixes and applies chemical stripper to remove wax finishes from floors.
Reports needs for maintenance to appropriate team member.
Maintains a safe, clean, organized and functional environment of care by caring for the medical center's grounds; disinfects and cleans patient rooms, offices and hallways; operates equipment and machinery to maintain medical center cleanliness.
Follows infection control procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients, families, and team members.
Maintains all work areas in a clean, neat, orderly and safe condition; distributes stock, keeps records of materials issued; Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock; fills orders or issues supplies from stock; and assist in daily security duties.
