BPN Staffing Solutions is currently seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to fulfill a 13-week contract at a facility in the Jefferson, NC. area.
Essential Functions Collects data pertinent to the healthcare consumer's health or the situation. Analyzes the assessment data to determine actual or potential diagnoses, problems, and issues. Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the healthcare consumer or the situation. Develops a plan that prescribes strategies to attain expected, measurable outcomes. Implements the identified plan, coordinates care delivery, and employs strategies to promote health and a safe environment.

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTIFCATIONA / EXPERIENCE:
Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Traveler Experience: Unit accepts 1st time travelers
Locals Accepted / Rate Difference: Yes
Skills: Fetal Heart Monitoring
Certs: ACLS, NRP and BLS
JOB DETAILS:
Ratios: 1:1-2
Shift:12 HR Days
Requested Time Off: 7 days MAX
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
PATIENT DIAGNOSES:
Unit had ~100 births in all of last year so not a very busy department. LDRP Unit, so both mother and baby care.
SPECIAL PROCEDURES / UNIT DETAILS:
LDRP Unit so candidate will assist both mother and baby. Not a very busy unit but this unit does have higher acuity/high risk cases. Need strong experience - this is because of the autonomy that is needed for this small department

Centricity, Meditech Magic
Contract Details:
- Shift: Day 7am-7pm (3x12hr)
- Call Requirement: REQUIRED
- Float Requirement: Yes they will float to assist other units
- 13 week travel contract
- Estimated weekly gross pay= $1908-2088 (w/ travel stipend included)
