Locums Breast Radiology Physician

We are
seeking a skilled Breast Radiology Physician to provide locum tenens coverage
in Red Bank, NJ. This role is designed for a fellowship-trained breast imager
or a general radiologist with significant experience in breast imaging,
particularly in screening mammograms. The position involves outpatient imaging
services, focusing on interpreting screening and diagnostic breast imaging
studies.

In this
role, the physician will perform and interpret outpatient breast imaging
studies, with a primary emphasis on screening mammograms. For
fellowship-trained breast imagers, responsibilities will also include seeing
diagnostic patients and reading screening MRIs. General radiologists will focus
on screening studies at designated outpatient facilities. The expected caseload
is approximately 20-30 screening studies and 10 diagnostic studies per day,
with no procedural requirements.

Schedule:

• 5 days per week, totaling 40 hours.
• No on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of
  Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with a completed fellowship in breast imaging
  (preferred) or substantial experience in breast imaging.
• Current and active CDS and DEA.
• Valid New Jersey medical license.
• Ability to obtain necessary
  privileges for practice in the region.
