We are seeking a
skilled and experienced Locums Gastroenterology Physician to provide coverage
in Troy, OH. The position offers two distinct shifts, allowing flexibility for
the right candidate. The first shift (Position A) is typically from 7:30 AM to
4:00 PM, most days, focusing on outpatient procedural coverage. The second
shift (Position B) involves 24-hour on-call coverage, with procedures done as
needed during this timeframe—majority of these procedures will occur during
normal business hours. The role is split into two primary responsibilities:
performing outpatient procedures and providing on-call services for emergency
department (ED) and inpatient (IP) needs. Ideally, this position will be filled
by one provider who can commit to working three weeks per month.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or Doctor of Medicine (MD)
degree. - Current, valid Ohio State Medical License (IMLC will not be
accepted). - ACLS certification required.
- DEA certification required.
