Riverbend will be providing the following internship opportunity for the 2025 school year for any second year Master Level Graduate Student.

CHOICES-Addiction Recovery Services-Merrimack County Recovery Court

Choices Addiction Recovery Services provides separate and distinct programs and services for adults (18+). Our outpatient programs, located in Concord, offer help and hope to those whose substance misuse is affecting the quality of their lives. As part of Riverbend, Choices provides an integrated and multidisciplinary approach designed to help break the cycle of dependency and addiction to alcohol, cocaine, marijuana, opiates, benzodiazepines, and countless other substances.

Description: This internship experience provides the opportunity to be a part of an energetic team in a growing treatment program. Interns will have the opportunity to witness a wide range of treatment approaches for adults. You will conduct intakes, provide goal-oriented individual and group therapy. Additionally, you will gain knowledge and understanding of Medically Assisted Treatment (MAT) and how it can help clients gain time in recovery.

Supervision: An LCMHC will provide supervision.
