MRI Technologist
SUMMARY: Operates MRI scanner; reviews images in PACS. Prepares patient, room, and equipment. Orders supplies and medication. Administers exams and medications according to age specific standards. Assures safe operation of the magnetwhile providing optimal patient care and applying all principles of patient safety. Assists in service marketing as requested. Uses RIS and SCM systems and is expected to participate in on-going training and education relating to positioning, technique and MRI safety guidelines.
Required Licensure/Certification/Registration: Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; MRI certification within one year of hire
Preferred Education/Training: Graduate of an AMA-approved school of radiologic technology
Preferred Experience: **PRN MRI Tech II ONLY** 2-3 years MRI experience
Preferred Licensure/Certification/Registration: BLS
