Patient Information Security
- GENERAL SUMMARY
- The Patient Information Security is responsible for greeting all persons entering the hospital. Demonstrates positive guest relations and creates a welcoming environment to hospital visitors. Reports to department leadership.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides information, appropriate passes and directions to guest.
- Responds to telephone inquiries related to patient information in a timely manner.
- Utilizes information systems in maintaining patient access and facility control.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- LICENSES AND/OR CERTIFICATIONS
- None required.
- MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Must possess basic computer skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette and customer skills.
- Previous experience with automated visitor tracking software preferred.
- CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
- WORKING CONDITIONS
- Work is performed inside and outside the hospital in all weather.
