Physician Billing Specialist

Processes claims daily for Assigned Entities which consists of working Gaffey error reports and reviewing and editing uploaded claims as necessary to insure a clean and timely claim. Identifies and bills secondary or tertiary insurances. Review Patient accounts for pending insurance payments, taking necessary action to have claim processed. Corrects and updates account demographics as needed. Researches and appeal denied claims. Review accounts with insurance Credits for refund and/or corrections that need to be made. Assists patients with accounts.

Required:

High School Diploma or Equivalent, Medical Billing experience
