Progressive Care Unit/Stepdown Registered nurse (PCU)

BPN Staffing Solutions is seeking PCU RN for a 13 week contract in the Richmond, Virginia area.
Contract Requirements:
Travel experience preferred
Must be open to floating if needed
BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
36 or 48 Hours a week guaranteed, 12-Hr Days, 7:30a-8p
Required to work every other weekend and every other major holiday.
Unit Specific Details
ICU Stepdown
24 beds
Skill Sets: Cardiac drips, insulin drips, BiPAP, cardiac rhythm
Equipment: Alaris pumps, Hercules beds, TF, NGT, chest tube, wound vac
Patient Population: Cardiac, respiratory, DM, sepsis, neuro--diverse population of patients.
Scrubs: Navy blue, white, or any combination of the two colors.
Ratio*: 1:3-4
MUST pass EKG Exam at Orientation (Study Guide Available in Simplify Library)
At least 1-year of PCU or ICU experience required
*Ratios are never guaranteed but what the unit attempts to achieve with normal staffing. Ratios are subject to change based on staffing.
- Start Date: ASAP or As Soon as Cleared
- Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)
- 13-week travel contract (w/ possibility for extension)
- Weekly pay w/ travel stipends included
- Weekly gross - $2,160-$2,340
