SCC-RN-Night Shift

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Surgical Care Center

No Holidays or Weekends outside of on call rotation!

Job Summary: We are seeking a Registered Nurse for our Surgical Care Center team. You will care for pre and post-surgery patients, manage their pain, and ensure their comfort and safety. Duties include assisting with getting ready for surgery, giving medications, using medical equipment, and stocking rooms. You will also help prepare for the next day and work with the team to keep everything running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for patients before and after surgery, checking on their health and making sure they are comfortable.
• Give medications and treatments as needed.
• Keep track of patient progress and document everything.
• Prepare patient rooms and supplies for the next day.
• Follow hospital rules and procedures to ensure the best care.

Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Must have a current Registered Nurse license.
• BSN degree is preferred, or you must complete it within 6 years.
• Must be able to care for patients of all ages.
• Must be willing to work on-call shifts, including weekends.

Skills:

• Able to work well with patients of all ages.
• Knowledge of nursing practices and ability to handle medical equipment.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
