School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our new therapy services team in Pennsylvania. We are seeking an SLP who will support students in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This clinician will provide in-person direct services and progress reports/IEPs for a blended caseload of K-8 students. As the dedicated SLP, you'll be an essential part of the team, working closely with students, families, and educators to provide quality speech and language services.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality direct speech-language therapy services to K-8th grade students according to the students' IEPs.
  • Manage a caseload of 13 students per day, or 65 students total.
  • Utilize Easy IEP.
  • The school will provide a laptop, badge, and access to EasyIEP & PowerSchool.
  • Every school campus in this district has unique needs and the SLP has the potential to case manage any speech-only cases.
  • Work with the student's primary case manager.
  • Students' disability ranges (could be anything, depending on the caseload).
  • Some students use AAC devices.
  • Caseload makeup will depend on the school, but many will be blended with the potential to be exposed to a range of diagnoses
  • The school will provide a laptop, badge, and access to EasyIEP & PowerSchool.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • School-based and/or pediatric experience working with K-8th grade children.
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Valid PA SLP license from the Pennsylvania Board of Speech-Language Pathologists.
  • Valid PA Education Specialist Certificate from the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
