Technical Support Analyst

Job Summary:
This position is a technical resource responsible for initial configuration, setup, and deployment of desktop personal computers and printers, and desktop software applications. This position also acts as 2nd level support (1st is Help Desk) of all desktop PC's, printers, and desktop software applications, which will require proficiency in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all desktop components. This position is also required to be proficient in basic networking skills that may be required when implementing new devices. This position will also be required to install, configure, and support other network and peripheral equipment as needed, such as scanners, PDA's, wireless devices, switches, and other new technologies as they become available.

Education/Skills:
Associate Degree in a computer related field is preferred but not required. Training or equivalent work experience related to installing, troubleshooting, and repairing desktop hardware and software is required. Skills in Microsoft operating systems and Microsoft Office products are requested.

Work Experience:
5 years desktop and network support experience preferred.

Certification/Licensure:
None required, but will be considered if held.

Mental Demands;
Ability to solve problems logically. Must be able to take orders and follow directions. Must be able to work closely with others, and maintain a professional image at all times.
