Vice President of System Quality, Experience, and Value - #2545
Summary
The Vice President reports to the SVP & Chief Operating Officer and is matrixed to the SVP & Chief Strategy Officer. Partners with St. Clair Health (SCH) physician and nursing quality leaders to develop, support, and implement a strategic plan for quality, experience, and value in collaboration with appropriate departments, committees, and cross-functional teams. Oversees areas of Quality, Infection Prevention, Operational Analytics, Patient Experience, Value Based Care, Care Management, and Social Experiences. Serves as a resource for leadership in all quality, experience, value, and care management matters.
As a member of the SCH senior leadership team, the Vice President of System Quality, Experience, & Value (VP QEV) is responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership and operational management of the quality, experience, value, and care management programs of St. Clair Health. The VP QEV will serve in a highly visible leadership role, working collaboratively across the enterprise and externally to provide a strong regional presence for the program.
The VP QEV will be responsible for designing and hardwiring a system that delivers to patients the highest quality, coordinated care, exceptional experience, and optimal cost. This position will provide the leadership, direction, and ensure resources are allocated to establish an environment of quality that permeates every activity. The VP QEV will be responsible for rapidly accelerating improvements in measures of quality, experience and value by: benchmarking SCH's performance against other leading health systems and integrated delivery systems; proactively seeking to improve processes and implement best-in- class solutions; improving quality and productivity in a thoughtful way; and identifying new systems and processes to make healthcare delivery more efficient.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's Degree in health care related field or equivalent.
- Ten years of experience leading quality or value programs over a large span of areas across an integrated delivery system.
- Five years of quality or value leadership and management experience.
- Proven experience in establishing strategic priorities and building the infrastructure and team to implement large-scale initiatives and behavioral change across a system.
- Excellent executive presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Three years of experience leading cross continuum quality or value programs (both inpatient and ambulatory sites).
- Registered Nurse licensed for clinical practice in Pennsylvania.
- Physician licensed for medical practice in Pennsylvania.
